Great Deal On Dewalt Battery
I recently bought a tool that didn't come with batteries. So I searched for battery deals and saw this. For $39 I jumped at the opportunity. I bought two and they work perfectly. I just had to charge them. Definitely a great deal.

The batteries seem to be ok, but when I opened the box and saw them they are huge. They are double the size of my other 3ah batteries. Don’t know why they are so much larger for the same capacity. Guess that’s why they are so cheap.

I bought the Dewalt 20Volt driver gun because I was building standing stalls for our 5 horses. I've always had a "backup" battery, and wanted a spare for the drill/driver. I saw these on sale as a 2 pack for $99, and bought them. These are twice the Amp hour rating of the one that came with the driver (and are also twice as heavy), however, when charged, they provide easily 3 times the battery life of the original battery. The 2 pack was a bargain to say the least. Couldn't be happier with the driver, or the batteries.
The Dewalt 20v line of power tools are reliable, affordable tools that get the job done. I use them for installing heavy duty industrial sheet metal machines and they hold up. I also have my employees for my small business use them and they could not be happier. The small 1.5 amp battery that most of the tools comes with are really only for light duty. I received this for free after buying the 20v electric trimmer and am blown away by the battery life. At $99 they are a little steep but well worth the price.

Quality DeWalt batteries as expected
I bought these 3 amp hour batteries and was surprised to find that these batteries do have a fuel gauge, before I made this purchase, I had thought that only the 4 and 5 amp hour batteries had the fuel gauge.
I bought these 3 amp hour batteries along with a DeWalt combo that does come with the 4 amp hour batteries. Upon lifting the package including two of the 3 amp hour batteries, it was so heavy that I figured, these 3 amp hour batteries could not be much lighter than the 4 amp hour batteries.
I have a digital scale that I use to weigh out part A and part B of epoxies, so I pulled it out and I weighed both batteries. I was completely surprised to find that there is not much of a weight difference.
On my digital scale, the 4 amp hour battery weighs 22.32 ounces, and the 3 amp hour battery weighs 21.87 ounces. The 3 amp hour battery weighs only .45 ounces less than the 4 amp hour battery.
This is not much of a weight difference at all, less than a half of an ounce. This is good to know, because I am sure that many DeWalt uses have probably bought the 3 amp hour battery over the 4 amp battery thinking that they would be carrying around less weight, and if it were known that the 3 amp hour battery weighs almost the same as the 4 amp hour, then most people might choose the 4 amp hour battery knowing this.
Who would want to carry around almost the same weight and have an entire amp hour less of capacity?
This having been said, I am sure that DeWalt has more than one manufacturer that makes their batteries for them, and there is most likely a fluctuation in the weight of batteries from one manufacturer to the next, and because of this, different batches of batteries might have a greater weight difference between the 3 amp and 4 amp hour batteries.
Aside from the weight situation, these are quality DeWalt batteries as is expected.
I had read a previous review that said these batteries are only so so and are fragile, I wonder how anyone would say such a thing with no further explanation of how, because these batteries are made from the usual DeWalt plastics which are impact resistant, and these DeWalt batteries are made with plenty thick of plastic, because of this it seems like that review which claimed these batteries are fragile, might have been a false review created by a competitor.
