    Q:Can mice chew through these?

    Answer This Question

A:  A motivated mouse wif teefs, you bet. I've had mice/rats go through other PVC items, but not this one specifically. If there were other chewing options I'd bet this is not high on their list of preferences.

Q:How do you attach conduit to outlet boxes. I want to use this for behind the walls of my future theater room for surround sound

A:  They make ENT flex connectors to put on the end. You can also use a regular PVC terminal adapter and locknut.

A:  Attach an ENT Male Adapter which snaps onto the tubing and gives you a threaded end to feed through the outlet box. Then secure it with a ring (nut).

It's perfect for my needs. I make orbits from it for my parrots. They love it. It is cut easily and bendable, basically indestructible.

Worked exactly as needed for my low voltage wiring in my basement with the metal studs. Will be using more of this stuff for my security camera wires in my garage. This blue smurf coil gives it a nice clean look. Its flexible to maneuver and easy to cut. Good stuff!

This product enabled me to futureproof the data cabling in my soon to be finished basement. I ran several Cat 6 cables and a couple coax cables through this conduit. It is a previously unfinished basement. We installed steel studs, which have cutouts through which Romex or data cabling can be run. Per code, plastic bushings must be used to protect Romex from the chart metal cutout edges. Similarly, this conduit serves the purpose of protecting the data cables (as well as allowing future removal of Cat 6 and insertion of Cat - whatever is needed in the future. However - be warned, that due to the corrugations in this conduit, it is nearly impossible to route through the steel studs, as the steel edge will find its way into one of the grooves. I taped one half of the plastic bushing to the side of the stud. This provided enough thickness to prevent the hose's grooves from getting stuck in the edge of the hole through the steel stud.
