A: Hi Morgan and thank you for your question. You can wire two of the Com-Pak 2000 watt, 240 volt heaters on one 30 amp circuit using 10/2 wire with ground.

Contractor found it easy to install and it looks beautiful in my newly renovated bathroom. I hated the baseboard heater that was originally in there. I got rid of the thermostat that was on the wall and can now use that wall for a new shelf.

This heater does not have an off switch. Turning the thermostat down does not turn it off. I installed it in a back room, planning to use it occasionally and did not expect it to turn itself on whenever that room got really cold. Of course, the circuit breaker shuts it off. Other than that it seems to work well. I bought the 2000 watt heater for a 150 sq ft room and I wouldn't go smaller. Also, the heater is quite noisy. I wish I had gone with gas, which is silent.

Hi Ed, the built-in thermostat that comes with the heater is a single pole, which means it doesn’t have an off position and will turn on if the temperature dips below 45 degrees. If you would like a true off position for this heater, you could swap out the built-in thermostat for this double-pole version: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Cadet-Com-Pak-Series-Almond-Integral-Double-Pole-22-Amp-Thermostat-Kit-CTT2A/202884432. We are sorry to hear that the heater is noisy. The sound level should be similar to a hair dryer on low setting.
