This adapter does exactly what it should - it allows you to plug a full-size HDMI connector into a tablet, phone or other device that only has a micro-HDMI input. The fit is tight and secure, which is a good thing, although you'll need to pay attention when you plug it in to make sure it is fully inserted. Now, just a few issues with the product: (1) the packaging - far too difficult to open. It required multiple attempts with a scissors to open. If you have any condition that makes it difficult to use scissors on hard-to-cut objects, you'll need someone to help you out. (2) the price - while not too expensive, it's fairly close in price to a full 6-ft cable with a built-in micro-HDMI connector on one end, which frankly seems like a better value than this adapter, which could be lost and requires you to have or buy a separate cable. (3) the size - I hadn't realized this would be a problem until I plugged it in, but the adapter is so wide (wider of course than a full-size HDMI connector) that it blocks the port right next to it on my tablet, which is the micro-USB port, meaning I cannot have my tablet plugged into the charger while also plugged into the TV. So, for all these reasons, I'd suggest just buying the 6ft. cable with built-in micro-HDMI connector from the same company, unless you have an unused HDMI cable available and don't mind potentially blocking other connectors on your handheld device. One word of caution - there are both mini-HDMI and micro-HDMI standards, so before you buy any adapter for an HDMI device, make sure you know what standard you need.
