This is supposed to be the latest and best paint from Behr. It undercoats and topcoats. How wrong was I.
We bought a 1 Gal tin, tinted dark blue to test before buying the rest of the paint. We applied it to the outside of our house to see how it was going to look. Check for streaks and the like. It went on well with a roller and paint brush.
So we bought 40 Gal and proceeded to paint the outside out the house. We used a sprayer and after 2 coats the paint was streaky and you could see the undercoat we had put on. Even though we didn't need to.
We hired a airless sprayer and the services of a retired painter. So it wasn't like we were not prepared.
After leaving it 2 weeks thinking it was due to it being wet, the streaks where still there. So in the end we had to paint the whole house using a paint brush. We had to paint each board the length of it before moving down to the next one. If we painted a few boards and the moved accros, you could see the joining streaks of paint. Not very happy and would not recommend this paint to anybody.
