Despite several harsh reviews, I found this to be an excellent product. I've had the other arrow staplers. They require quite a workout. Their springs were very tight and required a lot of force to get a staple in place. This one was a breeze to use. I stapled insulation into pine wood. The staples went in fully, first time, every time. With the handle at the top, force was directed over the staple point. There was no slipping as with other guns. It also required about 1/3 rd the force of other staplers. There are 2 things to keep in mind. you must use t-50 staples. people experiencing jams are most likely not using t-50 OR forcing too many staples into the gun. If the spring is too tight, the striker will hit more than one staple and jam.
