- Very nice mower!

- This thing is really sweet. V-twin engine sounds like a motorcycle and operates very smoothly. Rides very nice, has plenty of power, cuts great and the hydrostatic transmission is fantastic. The transmission operates via a speed lever that you move forward (or backward) according to how fast you want to go. Speed control is very smooth and almost infinitely adjustable. Electric blade engagement is very nice. Quality of the mower seems very good and is very solidly built. Engine hood/cover, main body and deck are all metal (everything that's orange is metal). Has a deck washout to clean the blades and deck after use. I didn't care for the black wheel rims at first but they're growing on me. Only complaint is it cuts my yard very fast and I want to keep driving it longer.Delivery/unpacking:I bought mine online, sight-unseen and it was delivered via 18-wheeler with a hydraulic ramp in a big crate, fully assembled and almost ready to mow right out of the box. The delivery driver had a palette jack and wheeled the crate right into my garage where the only problem with this whole thing occurred - getting it off of the freaking palette! The bottom of the crate is not solid, but instead is a wooden framework and all four of the tractor's wheels are sunk into slots between boards so it won't roll around during shipping. Problem is, it won't roll off of the crate either. It took me quite a while to figure out how to get it off of the crate so maybe this will help someone else - You can't lift the mower unless you have superpowers or something but you can lift each wheel individually fairly easily, at least enough so that you can slip some boards under the wheels to get them out of the holes. Do that for all four wheels, disengage the transmission via the little pull wire on the back of the mower (read the manual) and then carefully roll it off of the crate. I did this by myself but it would be much easier with someone helping. Also, you will have a giant empty crate to break down and dispose of so be prepared to spend an hour or more just doing that.

- Like this much better than my Grandparents D100

- This mower is the real deal, Ben and the guys over at the North Spokane location really know how to treat a customer. There was some delay in shipping, but it was a supplier issue. They took great care of me, and I could not be happier with this mower! It has turned mowing my full acre yard into something I look forward to doing. This mower has a ton of power, and does not hesitate at all no matter how tall the grass. Handled my field mowing without issue as well. Also, I recommend going with a pull behind sweeper as apposed to a bagger, it picks up much more grass, and has a wider range of applications.
