      Answer This Question

A:  Hello Gila, The faucets come with the tub, you would need to drill the holes for the installations of the faucets. Please reach out if you require further assistance.

A:  The faucets and shower head (quite nice looking one's actually) come with the tub. The tub however, is not drilled for the faucets. I presume that is because the desired positioning can vary from one installation to the next. I used a power drill and a wood bit to install our faucets.

Following an accident this past spring my wife was no longer able to enter or exit a normal tub. Rather then tear the existing bathroom apart to install a shower or 60" walk in, we opted to go with an Ariel 48" tub with whirlpool, air bath and inline heater. The tub was installed in a half bath off our master bedroom. (The room was only 55 inches wide thus the need for a tub with a smaller foot print.) This tub has been in place for about a month now and we could not be more pleased. There are a few caveats: First, the tub requires two 20 amp.ground fault circuits, one to handle the whirlpool and air injector motors and the second for the in line heater. If you do not have the available space in your breaker box it could get expensive in a hurry. Secondly, If you are installing it yourself, as I did, do not button everything down until you have tested it completely. This tub dumps 45 gallons of water in less than 30 seconds putting a real strain on the plumbing. I had one fitting blow out that required a bit of extra running around to find a replacement part. Lastly, unless you have an oil fired hot water heating system or equivalent, you will need a water heater that will provide a full 45 gallons of hot water. (A fifty gallon heater only provides about 40 gallons or 80% of rated capacity.) That said, I believe this to be a quality product at a reasonable price - one you will be happy with.
