This is a great oven for pizza the enthusiast that wants wood fired pizza, but doesn't have the space or money for a full-on masonry oven. I've cooked pizza in it three times now, and it's gotten better each time. My friends and family have talked about how much they liked it days later. This turns your pizza making into a truely memorable event. I've also cooked bread in it, which turned out well. It's really important that you use cured hardwood, such as oak, cherry, and/or apple wood, or the oven won't get hot enough. With the right wood, it's up to 700+ degrees within 20 minutes. I would recommend getting an infrared thermometer gun so you can check the temperature at different spots in the oven. (They aren't as expensive as you would think.) They aren't lying when they recommend two strong people to help with the assembly. That said, it wasn't too bad- maybe an hour or so. One caution is to check the bricks that go in the floor of the oven as soon as it arrives. Mine were broken into many pieces, and they had to ship new ones.
