Today I experienced a very helpful employee, Jacob H. He went above and beyond to help me find the correct plumbing necessary for an inspection completion.

    Worst Customer Service Experience
    Had the worst customer service experience with the cashier. He rang up the incorrect price on my plants. When I corrected him, he became combative/argumentative. I offered to walk him out to show him the sale signage and he said he couldn't do that and he didn't do stocking that he could only go by what was on the price tag. I asked if I could walk someone else out to show them. I told him he should not be arguing with his customer. A manager walked up and gave me the price after explaining it to her all over again. Both tried to say maybe someone else (I think a vendor) may have put a different price up. I didn't feel like either one believed me. I will never shop there again based on this experience. Not to mention, the cashier broke one of the long blooming branches off of the plant during ringing them up. As I was leaving, after taking a picture of the signage, the manager was walking out to take a look. Why didn't they do that in the first place rather than have to argue with me?? Ridiculous.

        While Checking out and leaving the store I lost my wallet. Fortunately thanks to Employees Pedro and Ramone they recovered my wallet within minutes of losing it. Pedro and Ramone showed commitment and integrity. They were able to get a hold of me promptly. I commend them both for saving the day. In the times we are living in now there is not much of that and I truly appreciate it the honesty. Thanks again Pedro and Ramone

                        Crowded aisles!
                        Every time I have to go to this Home Depot I’m reminded how much I hate it. Well it just got worse with the aisle crowding. The front aisle is full of double displays and if you have a cart you can’t get through as long as someone is looking at something. Also there’s only enough room for one way traffic. Now there are appliances lining the second row which are crowding that aisle and also easily damaged by passing carts. If I didn’t have to I would never set foot in this store again with it like this.

                              Customer Service, knowledge of department and general inventory knowledge
                              The primary reason for visiting this location is threefold. 1. I have been fortunate to have great customer service each and every time I have visited the West Richland Home Depot location. When I did have to wait just a bit, it was primarily due to providing the same level of service to other patrons. During my last visit, I was struggling a tiny bit to find the items I thought I needed. This is when Pedro approached and asked if he could be of assistance. He suggested a few changes that could benefit what I was trying to build and knew exactly where the items were located within the store. Pedro then had another associate help me with finding the 6 /4 wire from the rack. There appeared to be approximately 50’ of wire on this roll but I only needed approximately 40’ of wire. I apologized for only leaving him approximately 10’ of this wire but at $6.14/ft. I couldn’t justify the extra $61.40. Richard appeared to understand and mentioned that there are always small projects that come up from time to time where someone may need a short piece like this and told me not to worry about it. After I retrieved the wire, he asked if he could be of any more assistance in locating anything else in the electrical department. I told him no but thank you for the assistance. Then when checking out and with a small line behind me I messed up and left my wallet in the car. Brittany offered to hold the items behind her location and would do her best to ‘sneak’ me in line to get me in and out. She was very thoughtful and very kind-spirited and I appreciated it. Fortunately, when I returned Brittany’s efficiency must be pretty good because the line was gone. She then scanned my items and off I went. Again, this is why I enjoy shopping at this location, its this type of service.

                                  Awful experience
                                  Went in at 1130 in the morning and was thrown out of checkout line and forced into self checkout. All 3 employees was rude and used same excuse. It makes no difference to a customer if your employees don't want to work. Hire better, get better.

                                    Associate Assistance
                                    Been in the store several times over the last few months while we do a complete remodel of home. Was stunned on 5/9 by the number of times an associate asked if I needed any help. Would be nice if the associates had the time to ask more often instead of seeming like they are stretched thin or uninterested in helping.

                                      I was happy with the customer service I received when shopping for flooring material and I bought a couple of storage containers and was very happy with my shopping and I plan on shopping at Home Depot again soon.

                                        HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM ASSOCIATES
                                        Arrogant and rude associate experience in the door department. Being I would not take the damaged floor unit he was too busy and couldn't or wouldn't pull down another door. That it wasn't going to happen that day and that I would need to put in a order... and would have to come back. I travel miles to get the door to be installed the next day, trying to keep the crew working. Note that this wasn't close to closing time but late afternoon. I contacted management to make my purchase. I'm also tired of hearing from associates of different departments when seeking product information and availability to goto "homedepot.com ". West Richland is by far the worst in the Tri-Cities area for customer service.

                                                    We only use this store for emergency items or supplies
                                                    Would live to give great reviews like years ago, but not so much for commercial anymore, and my business will be going back to only using this store for emergency supply or emergency repair items... website, in person, commercial desk(non existent anymore it seems, just a empty desk and 1 cashier)and also regular retail have a hard time keeping in track with each part.

                                                            Flooring Department Sucks
                                                            Tried to buy carpet and installation. Paid $50 online to have measurement done. Went into store to select carpet. Neither person sitting at desks there were from flooring department and didn't offer help. Tried to have store find someone to help but after an hour we gave up. Called the store a week later to order carpet and schedule installation but after 10 minutes they couldn't find anyone from flooring to pick up phone.
