Claudia made it so much better! Honestly been going to HD for years, but this time- the happiness that Claudia brings, she is truly a breath of fresh air. She would a definitely be a reason why I would return. It was 15 mins before closing and her smile and friendliness you would think it was opening hours. Such a sweet soul.

I purchased something today, March 6, 2024 and it was a clearance item and when the cashier name is above rang it up it was a whole lot cheaper than the clearance price. She went above and beyond to make sure that it was correct and I left extremely happy.

I wanna say thank you to Ms Sydney. But I wanna also say thank you guy's for being such a diversity store. For making me feel welcome and not making me feel like an criminal as other store make me feel. Ms Sydney as young you are, your smile and helping hand is what makes me realize there is some kindness left in this world

I love to visit the Valley Stream, Home Depot location because the customer service here is outstanding, especially from your cashier Lori. She very helpful and brightens my day

Shanice was phenomenal with assisting me. I waited 30 minutes to get a key cut. She paged continuously before, but as no one showed up she got off the register to assist. She also went on to assist me in finding a shower grab bar for my disabled 4 year old. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM SHANICE as she’s the only one who assisted me throughout my purchase.

Never bought paint by myself and this Home Depot helped me without making me feel dumb

I was so happy to shop at this location. The service was incredible! Claudia was exceptional at the cash register. I left with a smile on my face. It was a great experience at the Home Depot in Valley Stream!

We purchased items for bathroom, good selection.

I was able to find everything I went in there for. I am glad that there were a lot of knowledgeable Home Depot personnel to help me too.

Most of the workers are helpful in answering my questions. Not quick to run off

I spent 10 minutes in the aisle looking for an item that was nowhere to be found even though it says in stock. Associates paged several times, no one came but Shanice. Shanice was very helpful and quite knowledgeable especially since it wasn’t her department. I was a bit frustrated but I left with a smile and relief of frustration thanks to her.

While I was in the plumbing isle looking for fittings I needed to do a bathrrom, a middle ages couple was next to me looking lost and confused. A sales associate happened to walk towards the back of the store, and the couple excused themselves and stopped the associate to ask a question. The associate looked annoyed that he was being stopped. Before the guest had even finished asking the question, the associate said "I don't know" and continued walking. the couple looked puzzled and deflated. The couple turned and walk out of the store... I can't blame them as I would have done the same.

Tried to contact the store about a special size item (storm door). Once one gets past the automated message, the phone rings and rings but no one answers. Hours were spent for something that should have been a five minute telephone call.

Our customer service associate, Rob, was so helpful and attentive in assisting my daughter and I with finding our cubed storage unit which we had purchased online in May of 2023. Sadly the storage unit never made it from the distributor to The Home Depot for reasons unknown, even with having reordered the package to be delivered in August. 5 months later with no updates on our purchase, he was the first and only one that was patient enough to help sort out our dilemma; he called the distributor, remained on the line despite the excruciatingly long holds, and had our package reordered with a discount from the distributor for our trouble. Thanks to his help and attention to this matter, I feel confident in receiving my package this time around. I look forward to shopping at this Home Depot in the future thanks to todays experience.

Shanice from the cashier department left what she was doing to come and assist me in making keys as there were no hardware associates on hand after she made several pages. I commend her on having great communication skills in letting me why the store was short on associates that week.

Certain persons should not be in a position to interact with customers charisma is key for good customer service

Mikey D made shopping at HomeDepot easy, he was so kind to help me unload all the heavy the items in my car. He was so pleasant when helping even on a hot scorching day.

I bought 19 Windows and was happy with the final choice and financing solution.

This store is great always well stocked . Plus if any problem with your purchase easy and fast returns.
