Jordan in the St. Matthew's Paint Department is amazing! She not only took the time to assist in my paint selections but was so knowledgable about product usage. She was instrumental in making our house remodel project a success.

        Great selection Great staff
        I was able to buy the Home Depot brand and saved money on my refrigerator/freezer water filter. I’m very happy a staff shared with me this cost saving tip. I was able to install it the same day.

          Good old Home Depot!
          On a recent shopping trip to HomeDepot, I found more choices on quality flooring than a flooring store and other home improvement stores! I found the flooring I needed on my first visit to Home Depot, then I went to four other stores thinking I might find something better. Well, what a waste of my time! Home Depot had the best price, the best quality and the best look ! Next time, I am sticking with the winner, Home Depot!

            Got Spoiled Today
            Went in to buy array of things and the employee (actually the store manager) walked me to the sections I needed and discussed options. It was like the old days when HD had the best customer service around. Made my day!

                People are great. Self-Checkout stinks.
                I had one of the best people ever wait on me in the paint department (Jordan, btw). But at checkout, only self-serve was open, even though there were 4 cashiers standing around. What I was buying was heavy and awkward to handle on the cramped self-service ledge. And why was I doing my own work and paying Home Depot? Ruined the good vibe started by the paint department.

                      Can Shop on Lunch Break
                      I generally shop on my lunch break. Cashier Elizabeth was extremely pleasant and efficient. Obtained my items and got back to work on time!

                        I went to home depot after cutting a tree off of my garage roof, I needed garden bags, twine, spray paint, concentrated roundup. The only thing I could find was the spray paint. I required help with everything else and the employees that I approached for help gave great customer service and were personable. I'm a 62 year old 4'11 woman. A couple things I couldn't reach, one thing I needed a price and when I got to check out, the young man scanned my items, I'm sure I looked ragged and tired, but the help was much appreciated.

                          Masked employees
                          If there is one thing that really irritates me it’s walking into any HD store and having to interact with a masked employee. It is condescending to say the least and disrespectful. In my opinion employees should not be allowed to wear a mask unless they have a doctors note.

                              Horrible customer service
                              I asked someone how much is that wood at a pile of misc pieces. He said 70 percent off. I found one piece to my liking and had the guy cut it in half. Then the cashiet was extremely rude to me and wouldn't let me buy it. She went to the back and said no one cut it. I'm 62 yo. You think I cut it,, No. i was so mad at HD

                                        Store is great, UNLESS you have a Return (not the employees fault)
                                        The store is very convenient for me, has most everything they carry in stock, the hours are good, and the Employees are helpful. However, recently I purchased an item I did not need and so returned it. HD's return policy (specific to Gift Cards) is difficult and insulting. They require you to provide an ID and issue a "store credit" card that can only be used by the person possessing the picture ID. Doesn't even matter if the amount of purchase was very small. Giving Store credit is fine; making you provide an ID and use that ID when you complete the purchase is a "JERK" move that only serves to track customers unnecessarily, and discourage returns. This policy makes me want to avoid Home Depot despite the convenience and good employees!

                                          Nice fall day, mid day - open the garden center entrance!
                                          I was disappointed that the garden center entrance wasn’t open on a beautiful fall day, mid week and mid day. I had planned for easy shopping to buy garden soil. I wound up having to trek through the store twice. I just had hand surgery so I was looking for an easy experience.

                                                  I had an issue with how a product was prepared for me. I am not the type to be surprised that mistakes are made, in fact they are going to happen. But I am a person who greatly values how the store is able to rectify the issue with care and professionalism. These guys have done that for me and I give them five stars for my experience with how they dealt with this problem. Particularly Sarah from the Customer Service department. She was pivotal to taking care of the several hundred dollars mistake. Because of this, they will continue to get my business because I love how they handled their mistake.

                                                    Great customer service experience.
                                                    I had the best customer service experience today with Ty working in the Uscan area of the store. It was a "what can go wrong, will go wrong" kind of week for me, so I was there picking up cleaning supplies for a giant mess. As I tried to check out I was messing everything up. Ty was the pleasant customer service representative that I have experience in a while. He was attentive and genuinely eager to help me each time I hit the "help" button. I really worried I was going to annoy him, but he joked with me and even tried to put the blame back on Home Depot for my USCAN struggles. I was so appreciative of him, and this experience did turn my day around a bit. Thank you Ty at the St. Matthews Store! I will return based solely on this interaction.
