I went to the self check out area and was about to start ringing up my items, and the employee came up to my cart and started pulling items out and trying rearrange my items. I had to say something twice before she stopped. I go to self check out for a reason.

We found everything we were looking for because of an employee named Chris in the paint department. He was able to help us with a complicated project and was super friendly and helpful the whole time. We were very grateful! Rainbow bench looks great!!

Service desk employees not very friendly—especially with returns/exchanges.It seems like u r disturbing them when u approach the desk,no greetings, no thank you, no pleasantness at all.I heard HomeDepot does price matching,but SouthElgin service desk seems very reluctant to do it.

Store seemed clean and organized. Found what we needed quickly. However- the 4 employees encountered could not be bothered to say hello or thank you- even when you walk right by them. Why go to this store if your spouse already ignores you at home.

Entire process for picking out carpeting including in home measurement, product selction, and scheduling was great. Also pricing and financing were extremely competitive.

We got Strom doors from your store , it was a bit hard for a average person to understand the drawing and direction , but we did it.

I own a few rental properties and whenever I need to replace carpeting I always go to the South Elgin Home Depot. I appreciate the flooring staff and I really like the carpet installers there too!

I could have given this store five stars for fixing their mistake in sending out the wrong grill that I paid for (and took advantage of the free assembly and delivery), but because the way they decided to correct their mistake, I cannot. While they sent out the grill I paid for, they sent us the floor model that has scratches and is missing hardware. The reason I know I was given the floor model is because while in the store, 2 days prior to the delivery, I remember grasping the side burner and noticed it moved and saw a bolt was missing. Funny how the grill on my deck now has the same problem. I expected to get a NEW grill, put together properly. Not something that has been sitting on the showroom floor and missing pieces. And if it was a matter of they didn't have any in stock, I should have at least been given the courtesy of being asked if we mind taking the floor model, but I got no such option. While I understand the attempt to make a wrong right, the attempt was slight at best. I can't trust Home Depot to deliver what they promise now. I'll shop somewhere else in the future.

This store always has an abundance of plants and flowers as soon as the spring weather breaks.
