DUE TO SANTA CRUZ LACKING IN RETAIL HOME IMPROVEMENT STORES, EMPLOYEES SHOULD BE TRAINED IN THE AREA THEY ARE WORKING AND BE AVAILABLE, TRYING TO FIND HELP IS NOT EASY, EMPLOYEE HAVING KNOWLEDGE IS RARE

I would just like to see more happier employees. Just always seem grumpy!

Went looking for a washing machine for my disabled son and arrived very early at the store. Found a discounted washing machine that would fit his needs. Got lots of help in buying and loading the machine into my truck.

Every fruit and veggie and soil type. Helpful staff.

Enjoy good opening hours and friendly service!

Was shopping for water heater and the cashier was so helpful and pleasant. Was able to make the purchase so quickly.

The gal whom works in customer service (Darla ) really is an asset to your store and company. Time and time again she provides knowledge about where to find what I am looking for. She is always happy to assist and always has a friendly attitude and a smile. She makes me want to come back to shop at your store. Home Depot should be proud of her and kudos to her job performance.

Do not expect to get a military discount by showing your DoD issued ID card. Home Depot only virtue-signals that they care about veterans.

Tried and try it again thought I had it set up go to use it again and it says need to reevaluate please enter more information when I was about to go to the store to hell with this when I was able to just use my retired ID card there are other stores in town that use my retired ID card

Store is smaller which means smaller quantities of stocked items in stock. Could use a really good ordering associate that stays on top of predictive ordering instead of waiting until something is out of stock. If you need a common item call ahead. If you need multiple things for a project such as putting up a chainlink fence. Skip this store and go to a larger one because you will end up there as a second stop anyway since this one does not stock all needed parts.

I came here on a busy weekend and it took three different people to help me. They were all great!

I entered the store rather than purchasing power tool online. At checkout, had poor customer service interaction with cashier lead Hailey. Store management may want to consider another position for this associate. Many places to get power tools, not necessary to have front of house staff that don't have skills to interact with customers especially in supervisory role.

The shop is filled with all my requirements. Attractive and enticing to involve more in home improving

Pro Desk Supervisor Brian Perea went above and beyond to solve my difficult problem. Very friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

Waited more than 30 Minutes for the managers to unlock the cable around the BBQ for which I had paid.

The employees in the garden dept could care less about helping you find things, load carts with heavy material. Very unorganized, can barely get down aisles.

I went in on three different occasions to get repair parts for products that they sell, and each time they didn't have the parts necessary. Their staff kept suggesting that I buy another manufactures part and use that instead (which wouldn't have worked). If I had been an inexperienced customer, they would have sent me home with the wrong part, perhaps not noticing until I was well into the project, leaving the house with no water, and no time to find the right part! The store manager couldn't have cared less! the lumber is sub-standard and dimensionally incomparable with industry standards, costing far more to"make it work".I have NEVER known HD to take these things seriously, I guess that is what Yelp is for.

We love them, excellent price and we went to get more. But all were gone.

Have been shopping here for years and have never had an employee ask me if I needed help (when I did). Employee morale continues, IMO, at an all-time low. Either pay them more or change existing management. Something is not working at this location when it comes to employees that go above and beyond.

Dismissive customer service rep. Put on hold repeatedly because she was “busy.” Promises made but not kept. Advice that never panned out. I finally had to travel 25 miles round trip to purchase the blinds at the Watsonville store. In Watsonville, I was treated like a valued customer at the Watsonville store, unlike the awful way Kim Steiger treated me in Soquel.

I've never been disappointed by service and the selection of specific goods at this store is great. Most locally owned stores carry the specialty items I need, and I usually avoid home depot. But when I absolutely cannot find what I need, I usually find it at home depot! Staff are mostly knowledgeable and always friendly.

I came here to get garden supplies. I also got rocks and slabs. All the employees are very friendly and helpful! They might be super busy on the weekends but they all keep their cool and help every customer with kindness.
