When I arrived at your store without my credit card and realized Apple Pay wasn't an option, I expected a challenging evening, especially near closing time. But Anabella, supported by Leo and Ferdy, went above and beyond, dedicating over an hour to ensure I didn't need to return another day. Their teamwork and Anabella's leadership truly impressed me. As a fellow business owner, it's clear she cares deeply about her team and the store's success. Very appreciative of the people at this location.

Usually when I come here, it can be difficult to find someone to help. This time I found someone who really likes his job and took the time to show me how to load string into my weed whacker. He was very friendly and answered all my dumb questions. You need many more like him.

Will was extremely helpful & kind when I had to return the container lids because I purchased the wrong sized lids.

I met with Will for a return and he was amazing. Much better service than expected.

If you’re having any problems at all Trevor in the customer service department is your man. He’s gone above and beyond several times to help me out in time of absolute frustration you need more employees like him working for you.

This store usually has a top-notch selection of houseplants, better than many other local garden centers and nurseries.

As a long time frequent customer, I am uncomfortable and discouraged from shopping due to a cashier who mutters to herself the entire time. She does not speak to the customer: no greeting, no thank you, just constant unintelligible mumbling. It is creepy.

I have remodeled my home in 2019 and continue you finish small projects. bought my kitchen cabinets, appliances, windows and recently blinds for my windows. I couldn’t be happier with the service and how helpful the employees have been.. Outstanding service

The place is clean and well stocked but half the employees are miserable and rude. This has been the case the last 4 times I've shopped there. I'll go out of my way to shop elsewhere from now on. I kept thinking that it might be an isolated incident but apparently it is the commen theme there.

MJ and Norma in the garden dep't provided exceptional customer service

The manager Ashley was not accommodating and was rude. The tone of her voice and how she treated me when I had an issue with Home Depot over charging me, was impolite. She keep yelling "get in the line".

I have to say, there are some employees now clearly trying to improve things at this store - but there are soooo many employees that have been there a long time instilling bad habits in other employees - like telling you they don't care, or walking away when you ask a question, or refusing to acknowledge you at all. Product mis-placed constantly, items cancelled constantly because inventory is wrong (or they just don't want to look for the items), cashiers who just say they can't help you when they have an item without a bar code, or can't find a receipt (even when you show it to them), they just say they can't help you. It's kind of nutz at this place. Avoid if you can.

I shop all over the bay and this store is way better thank other stores I go too ! Hope it can be a good experience for you too !

We went on a Saturday and it was very busy, but most isles had employees who are ready and willing to help. Jamie B. was extremely helpful and kind and came up to us to ask if we needed help. He then went on to walk up to other customers and ask if you could help them. It made for a great experience even on a busy Saturday!

Marvin Ashe was amazing to deal with. I purchased blinds for my whole house from a remote location. He got me in touch with the distributor, and went above and beyond in his customer service. They are short staffed and even given being stretched thin, this is the best customer service I have ever had in a home improvement store.

Our local Home Depot is our go-to store for everything we need. The staff are friendly. The parking is great. The location is good (although it is located on a wet lands which is unfortunate because we need wetlands to protect us against flooding and sea level rise.)

We purchased kitchen cabinets and countertops today. The experience was very positive from a consumers perspective!

Sunny at the San Rafael store was incredibly helpful when I came back to return some items. The store was short-staffed three people and she handled our transaction with ease and like a true professional.

Best employee there! She makes this store feel more like a mom and pop than big box!

Why does this have to be the HD store closest to me? Once again, I regretted ordering for pickup in store. They cancelled my order one day before the last day I had been told I could pick up the item. When I got to the front of the line for customer service, I saw four cashiers disappear, to various places. One to help someone, two were occupied fixing a cash register somehow, one went to the order holding area and started dumping the items into a return bin, and one or two just disappeared, I suppose to a break room. As the next nearest store is ten miles away over the Richmond bridge, I have no choice but to occasionally go here in person. And while shopping for myself is usually no problem, I will never again order online to be picked up at the store.

The employees in the San Rafael store seem motivated to provide service and solve problems.

Went there Sunday and the store was FULL of staff! Who actually were okay taking time to talk with us and help us! Davey was so helpful, and Emmanuel was so great assisting Davey to close an entire aisle and use a forklift to get what we needed. Both of them were very polite and never showed any sign of us being too much trouble to them! It was a great experience and I think and hope that the San Rafael store can keep up this momentum of helping their customers help themselves!!!

Went in to find some source of light for our living room and kids room. We had several questions regarding the Google nest and Mary(MJ) was more the happy to help us with it. She took the time to thoroughly look for the item in the charcoal color for us did not make us feel rushed. We appreciate it we know as a cashier you just want to make the line go by faster to keep everyone happy. But we honestly appreciated the extra time spent on helping us!

I purchased a tree to be held in Will Call for my landscaper to pick up. When we arrived to get the tree, it was gone. I am a regular customer and actually like this Home Depot. However, this particular experience was horrible. I received a refund, yet it cost me an hour of my landscaper's time and the disappointment that my tree had been sold. Extremely poor customer service this time. I can't recommend using "Will Call."

Despite not having the stock to supply my project I left the store happy. Thanks to Gayle for stepping in and checking us out in a snap! Gayle is kind and efficient!

I am working on a project and I have made several purchases at the San Rafael location there are three people that stood out ,Cage, Tarek and Maria Vargas each transaction that I’ve had they provided excellent customer service
