Our store diverts waste from landfills by accepting plastic plant pots, CFLs, lead acid batteries, and rechargeable batteries for recycling.
Our stores sent approximately 5.3M pounds of shredded paper for recycling in 2022. This has helped the planet by preserving over 63.5K trees. It kept over 16K trash bags of solid waste out of landfills, saved over 50M gallons of water, and conserved 7.8M kilowatt hours of electricity.
We have decreased electricity consumption by over 52% in our U.S. stores since 2010.
The Home Depot's core values are based on doing the right thing for our customers and associates. This commitment extends beyond our stores to the environment and our communities. We are your partners in environmental sustainability. Learn more about our eco actions.
Welcome to the Porterville Home Depot. It's a great day to get started on your next DIY project.
Whether you're looking for gardening supplies or electrical supplies, your favorite local hardware store has you covered. Our friendly associates can help you find the products you need for your DIY project. Find the right product using our Home Depot product locator app – it displays a store map so you can ensure the product is in stock and know exactly where to find it. You can even use the barcode lookup to find detailed information on every item we carry.
At Home Depot, community involvement is important to us. We support our community and are very active with Kids Workshops at local schools and organizations in the Tulare County area. We also offer hands-on learning that covers a variety of topics tailored to everyone in your family, including monthly workshops for kids.
You can find us northeast of the intersection of CA-190 and CA-65, right by the ALDI, a few miles from Zalud Park. Stop by and see us today.
Sincerely,
The Porterville Home Depot Team

Are Kids Workshops offered at the Porterville Home Depot?
Yes, the Porterville store does offer in-person Kids Workshops. These in-store events are free and take place every first Saturday of the month between 9am and noon. Registration for kids workshops is now available online and secures your spot at the event. We have a new kit pack every month to keep your little doer engaged. Included in the kits are all necessary craft materials, as well as instructions, stickers, an apron pin, a certificate of achievement, and a Discovery Education extension activity. Any required tools, such as paint, are provided at the workshop. Customers who prefer not to participate in the in-person event can pick up their free kit in-store or order online at our Kids Projects Activities page to have it shipped to their home. Visit our customer service counter or call us to check availability.
