This past week I decided to order some pavers on sale for pickup. I called the Pro-Desk and talked with Aisha, the associate at the desk. She answered my questions and helped me set up next day pickup. I called back later, and she helped me change the pickup to same day. When I received the pickup notification, I got a trailer and went to the front pickup area at the contractor entrance. An associate, in the front Contractor entrance asked what I was shopping for that day. When I said I was getting some pavers she asked if I was Mr. Summers. It was Aisha from the Pro-Desk! She said I could pull in under the loading cover. The entrance to one end of the loading area was blocked by traffic cones. I asked the other associate if the loading area was closed, and she said she would move the cones so I could pull in. She was very polite and moved some traffic cones so I could pull into the area. Aisha came back out with two other workers, and they decided it would be better to load directly from behind the store. I pulled to the back and Angel, loaded the pallet of 1,000 pavers onto the trailer. Due to the trailer configuration and the size of the forklift Angel could not push the pallet onto the trailer far enough to balance the load. Elizabeth, Jasmine, and Angel helped me break open the pallet wrapping and move about 250 pavers to the front of the trailer to balance the load. I considered that work to be well beyond what I expected from the loading crew. All five associates were polite and helpful and exceeded my expectations.

I purchased a Refrigerator. At the point of checking out, the employee(Julene) informed me on the Home Depot credit card and its benefits. With the card i could get extra savings, also pay off credit card without interest for 6months.

I use Samsung Pay and it works everytime. Today the clerk who was over by paint as I was self checking out .got quite verbally aggressive withbsir we don't take apple pay. I said I know its Samsung pay it it does work. She then came charging over to me getting in my personal space and said I said we don't take apple tap and pay. Right as the system approved the Samsung pay. Which it has done like it always does. I said well I guess you do take Samsung pay. Her comment was well how am I to know what phone you have. I said well listening whenni 1st said it"a Samsung and Samsung pay which does work. Would be a start. She turned and said what ever. With a tone like all cusoltomers are stupid . I have used Samsung pay in this store for years I know it works it sometimes take a few tries. Staff at registers need to be a bit less aggressive and they may learn something lot of the register people know me and mynphone and laugh that it does work. But are not aggressive about it.

During self checkout I encountered an issue with the system. I asked for help the employee acted putt off and rude. She snatched my card jammed it into the machine. I politely asked her not to bend my card she then snapped at me telling that’s what you have to do. She became frustrated cancelled my entire transaction and told me to checkout elsewhere. While trying to checkout again she began talking about me to other customers and employees loudly. I felt belittled and bullied by an employee when I asked her to do her job. This experience has made rethink ever shopping at Home Depot as a veteran and someone who has avidly shopped at Home Depot I do not take kindly to being verbally abused by an employee.

The service was excellent. I was assisted by Anthony in the paint department, and my service could not have been better. In these days and times, it is sometimes impossible to find good service. Anthony went above and beyond any service that I had expected to receive. He used a small paint sample that I was able to retrieve and made a perfect match of the paint that I needed. He was very patient with me and took his time to explain. Great employee. Fabulous customer service.

Incentivized by the O% 24 month financing offer, we moved up the timeline on replacing our kitchen and laundry appliances in order to complete the renovation of the home we purchased in Norfolk last year. Customer Care Associate Rin in the appliance department worked with us. Rin was professional, courteous, patient and thorough assisting us in putting the packages together. When we learned that the purchase needed to be split because there would be a delay in the delivery of our washer and dryer, Rin contacted finance to make sure we would receive the financing offer on the entire transaction. My wife and I are appreciative of the extra effort! I had not accounted for the extra room the fancy dancy refrigerator doors were going to require…it didn’t fit. When Samsung refused to take it back, (even though I had already purchased the replacement) ((Thank you again, Rin)) Miss Debbie stepped in to solve the problem. Samsung did not get a good review for this deal, by the way. Home Depot has been my go to vendor for more than 35 years. All the associates I have encountered at the #4615 location in the 757 have upheld the high standard I have come to expect over the decades!

Maria and Jeannie were amazing. They should be commended on a job well done. They were excellent!! Thank you both for all your help. If you want something done correctly see Maria in flooring department and Jeannie in the Kitchen department, they will take great care of you.

I highly recommend Jeannie in Kitchen and Jim In Window Department. Both did great jobs for me on a remodel project.

Shelves usually have what I need/want. Everyone is helpful and polite.

Military Circle, Home Depot that service is our neighborhood normally has most things that we need even though there’s a shortage of employees to service us. I think they do a wonderful job in dealing with us and our complaints and always willing to make it right. Thank you Home Depot for your service to our neighborhood.

I just got home from getting some wood I needed for a project I am getting ready to start. I was told I had to check out myself and if I could not it will take some time to get someone to me to help. Worse experience I have ever had so I will be shopping some plce else from now on, not Home Depot!

I was “over the moon” the moment the truck pulled in my driveway the day of the installation. As a widow I had waited sooooo long to have this done. The installers were the ABSOLUTE BEST. Everything you could have asked for. The vendor: SUPERIOR FENCE! Guys, you won’t be disappointed!

Best Home Depot I’ve ever been to!

I have recently worked with two "EXCEPTIONAL" employees at the Home Depot - Military Circle - Store. First, Jim in Windows and Doors worked with me on an order for 22 windows and 4 doors. His knowledge of both was exceptional and really made the purchase a great experience. He kept me informed throughout the process, Order through Delivery and was always pleasant to talk to. Jeanie, in Countertops and cabinets worked with me on 4 bathroom remodels. Her experience in design was exceptional and her recommendations/explanations of products attested to her knowledge. We will definitely be back soon for a kitchen design! Both employees and top notch and deserve 10 out of 5 stars. They are that good!
