The African American female sale associate at the customer service desk gave me attitude just like she did six months ago. I don’t know her name because she covered it with her hand. MJ’s solution was to send me back to her. EJ told me I was in the wrong. I know nearly every worker in that store and they all greet me. What is going on with this store? It’s gone down hill. Thank you to Edward for stepping up to help me. He was very professional and efficient.

We have purchased several appliances at Home Depot and can’t say enough about Nancy. She is extremely helpful and personable. She is knowledgeable about the appliances and can be very helpful in making your buying experience a positive one.

The Middletown Pro-Desk is that mid-day sense of family that you need when there’s still 5 hours left on the clock and you miss home. It’s a tough economy; it’s a difficult time of year; it’s cold and I’m tired. Christina and Tori give me the smile I need to push through the day and make that next paycheck. The customer service desk goes above and beyond to care for its customers.

Horrible customer service.

Stopped in to get extra storage bins, only 2 available on shelf, checked out by extremely rough and rude cashier. The system no longer has the Military discount button and no discount applied unless I had the mobile app. Not my regular Home Depots which are located in Montville, Lisbon & Waterford-- they are well stocked and super helpful. Won't waste my time trekking to this store when I am in the area.

We purchased an appliance recently and had a very positive experience with Nancy. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She took her time and explained each step and was very patient and personable. Nancy made this an easy, pleasurable experience for us. I would highly recommend having Nancy for your appliance needs and experience.

We came to buy a large amount of lumber to build a new deck. Our truck was way to small so the staff rented us a truck, helped pull the wood and then help load it. It went as smooth as can be. Cannot be any happier with the experience.

The Sales clerk Catherine, in the pro center, was super helpful and attentive. She helped me sign up for a HD credit card, which saved me $100 when all was completed.

Store does not honor sales that are clearly signed. The manager is extremely rude to both customers and employees. Talks down to people.

I came in today looking for a certain piece of hardware. I did not know the name of this hardware. I went up to a gentleman. His name is Dave and he was so much help. I really really appreciate everything he did. When Dave was not familiar with the piece of hardware, he walked around with me to his coworkers to see if we could figure out what this piece was after a few tries. We determined we could not figure out what it was so instead of Dave just sending me on my way he took the time to come up with another solution to my problem. I really appreciate him walking around with me and being so polite he never once made me feel dumb for not knowing. As a woman, that speaks volumes, I will definitely be coming back to this Home Depot! Thanks Dave!

An employee in a forklift was blocking access to the pro loading area where cement is kept. And of course there were no carts available so we had to carry each 80lb bag by hand about 20 yards to our truck. Not fun when buying 30 bags!

Before I purchased mulch, I wanted to ask how big the pallet was and how many bags on a pallet. Two Associated couldn't be bothered with my questions as they had to load mulch. (Yes, I waiting until they were done loading to ask the question). I needed to load a pallet into the truck and they couldn't tell me how many bags. The Associate was bothered by my innocent question, and replied "We will figure it out, just go buy the mulch". Nice reply. I asked we they can get a fork lift, and she said "buy the mulch and we can load it" (*As the fork lift was right around the corner working). 3-4 other customers heard these comments and even looked turned off and made a comment to me how rude they were. I will go to the Other store in the future.

The service from staff was great. Very helpful.

My husband and I were wow’s by Rita, Steve and Lydia this evening- they all worked together to get us a patio set from way up top, it was late and they all had worked a full shift but still had great demeanor, joy, humor and kindness. Top notch service! Thank you all!

Middletown Home Depot is very convenient to our home. It is usually our first stop for hardware and other items, garden, and even Christmas trees.

I have only had positive experiences at this store. From Nancy in Kitchen Appliance to the guys that will trim lumber for you, to the various cashiers, to the paint department ...everyone has in the last 12 years I have been coming here have only been friendly, helpful people who aren't lazy and do a great job. It's just a store but it's the most comfortable one to shop at compared to any kind of retail. I don't always need to shop here but it's pleasant when I do.

This is one of two home improvement stores in the area that always has a great selection of plants. They stock multiple species of Hoyas which I am always on the hunt for and they are well taken care of. I greatly appreciate it.
