This store constantly has cashiers who do not like helping by customers. I prefer AI but sometimes things have to be measured and this store cashiers make an effort to make sure they don’t try to help by trying to bounce you off eachother until someone needs to step in and help

I went into Home Depot to purchase some keys. Told the employee that I was getting keys made for my grandson and his wife. They were going to live with me and he thought that was so nice. Had a Laker key made for grandson and a pink key for his wife. We talked for a little bit. He thought that was so thoughtful of me to have them live with me.

This store is pretty well put. Everyone that walks amongst it has goals in mind, but are very polite in trying to find it by not bothering others in an unimportant manner and voluntarily move out of the way if space is needed. All the workers are present-minded, especially the lift crew, who can close down an aisle for a moment, and are very patient doing so by waiting for customers to finish pondering on a product instead of forcing them out. Workers often converse amongst each other, whether its for a professional opinion or for a chat, they are friendly. Plus, the cashier smiled, even when they didn’t know the answer to something. P.S Jessie James from plumbing is a cool dude. Please give him a chance at a raise so he can continue what he loves: guiding people to whatever solution he can offer, even if it’s across the store.

Staff needs customer service training in tool section and cashier area. It felt like I was irrelevant to them when I asked for tool help and practically disappeared when I went to go get my cart. She didn't even acknowledge where my tools went until I tracked her down and then it felt like I was wasting her time. Young lady you need to work on my customer service skills!!!

Exercise caution as assistant managers may arbitrarily establish their own return policies. If you attempt to return items from another store, they may redirect you elsewhere if it affects their daily sales. Such practices reflect poorly on the business.

Store is managed by a very professional woman whose team reflects her commitment to customer care.

I was accused of stealing by an employee named Yolanda. then they tried to tell me that they check everyone’s receipt, I stood outside the store for 15 minutes and recorded them not check one receipt. Do not go here

My husband enjoys Smoking/bbq. Our old smoker went on the fritz so we decided to go to Home Depot to find a new one and we sure did with the help of Wand. Looking forward to using it.

Lakewood Home Depot has very friendly staff and very helpful associates. My mother and I are very grateful to have encountered such a great experience. The plumbing department along with the cashiers were super helpful. My mother would like to recognize three associates at the Lakewood Home Depot. Terry from the Plumbing Department, Daryn from the cashier department and Wanda from the garden Department. Terry was very patient with my mother and was very knowledgeable. Daryn went the extra mile to assist my mother with the checkout process. Wanda definitely went far and beyond explaining the differences of plants to bushes. We have been coming to this Home Depot for over 14 years and we love this store.

An employee said that they did not accept pictures of receipts for returns, they only accept the physical paper copy. Home depot needs to change that policy, applications that take pictures of paper receipts are a legitimate way of collecting receipts and should be accepted for returning items at home depot. Please change policy to accept legible pictures of receipts for returning items.
