One of my old English Sheepdogs busted the dogs g door. Three screws broke loose from the frame. Turns out she can go through the closed door. Other hardware stores looked at the small diameter tight threaded, nylon screw and the nut with it and said “nope, don’t carry that” no looking or trying to find a suitable replacement. Home Depot, my last hope. Clinton in hardware took one look at the screw. Removed the nut. Hmmm, he seemed like he was interested in helping. Using the nut he matched the diameter and thread. No such thing in nylon but would metal work? What length? Same or different nuts? All options listed. He went through every section of the screws- stainless, zinc, whatever… and HE FOUND the length and 2 styles of nuts s we could decide what would work best. Clinton warned me these may rust over time due to not being stainless but they would definitely be stronger than the nylon. I’m happy to say that my dogs are once again able to use their door which of course makes them happy!!

When the young male cashier with long hair is more interested I. Flirting with a co worker and acts put out when he has to help a customer. SOMETHING IS WRONG. Not my fault or problem that an item wouldn’t scan because it didn’t recognize the bar code however I was told he needed ME to go take a picture of the item and shelf label

The flooring staff did an amazing job at selling me the right carpet for my needs. They listened to my concerns and did not try to talk me into product that was out of my budget. Would recommend!!

Employee from the paint department, older gentleman name John. We asked a question about outside paint, how long it would last, if there are different options and sizes of paint. He was extremely rude, hateful and had an awful tone while answering our questions. All around a very rude man! He has an attitude problem and he needs to fix how he talks to paying customers!! Will not be buying paint from this Home Depot again. However all the other Employees interactions were great! Cashier was new transfer from Florida and she was very sweet!

I had purchased some toilet tank replacements but some pieces (screws) were missing. I looked for replacements but couldn’t find any. Kevin helped me then took me to the service counter, explained the situation and Mary cheerfully assisted me in getting the pieces I needed. They both went above and beyond for me that day. Love this store

STORE WAS CLEAN AND ORGANIZED, ASSOCIATES WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. HAD WHAT WE NEEDED WITHOUT HAVING TO ORDER IT

We had to return a weedeater and Mary welcomed us and thanked us for coming in before we made it to the service desk. She was with us the whole time and was very helpful. I wish every store had more people like Mary. I told her it was nice to see someone that liked their job. She said she loves hers!!! Mary you are the best!!!

Ordered through pro desk with pickup time. I get there nothing has been put away for pickup. Hour later still here. Not the first time this has happened at this store.

Clinton was extremely knowledgeable about the products, and helped find substitute's that could be purchased in store rather than buying online and having to wait days for them to arrive.

i went to my go to store and found my baseboards that i wanted. I didnt have a long enough cart for the base boards but had the longest one the store had and it was hard to get around in he isles with a card of 6 16 ft base boards. I passed 2 employees that saw how hard i was struggling and went on their merry way, i also went to the consumer desk and spoke with someone there but he didn't want to assist me either. Told me I could cut the boards down myself if i wanted to. Maybe today was just a bad day for the employees but one did help me in the parking lot after finding out that they would not fit into my SUV , he took them back into the store and cut them himself and then brought them back out to me and helped load them into the SUV himself for me. Thank You Tim for helping me with my need.

We are currently in the process of remodeling 2 bathrooms and our laundry room and Home Depot has been my go to for 95% of the things we need. They have good prices, pretty good customer service, and the fact that they offer PayPal Credit payment forms for their online orders has been truly great for us. We only use it for a backup but still knowing it's there is wonderful!

We needed a new natural gas water heater. Store #3042 Joplin had what we needed in stock. The gentleman in plumbing was very helpful getting what we were after on a flat cart and even got something from an upper storage area that I needed for the install.

The patio furniture we chose was very nice, but we specifically asked to have it assembled for us as we are getting older. We drove an hour to pick it up as it was ready for us & was not assembled. We took it anyway, but very disappointed that we now have to assemble it ourselves. Otherwise our experience was good at the store.

Everitt is a huge benefit to this company. He’s very knowledgeable and many departments and I will definitely be coming back and recommending people to come here.

This store like many retail businesses has had its share of challenges with personnel, supply chain issues etc. however, during my 2 year process of using this store for over 50k worth of merchandise, the manager will roll up his sleeves and always take care of the customer. His diligence is admirable. I wish true success for this store. It’s an asset for Joplin mo. I lived in Wichita Ks for over 40 years. I’ve frequented a lot of Home Depot’s.

Every employee I had contact with was truely awesome

I was having difficulty finding what I needed and an employee by the name of Mia was able to tell me exactly where it was. She also made sure that I bought only what I needed and didn’t spend money on a product that exceeded the requirements of the job I was working on.

Under the dictionary definition for 2023 of the word Crappy Attitude you should fine see Cathey at the Home Depot store in Joplin MO. absolutely no excuse for her management skills to the store employees much less the customer.

Feel sorry for the store workers dealing with the corporates decision about taking away people checkers and replacing them with machines. Loosing customers will really make them happy about their decision.

I would lie like the manager to know that Mr Clinton is fantastic and helped me in the electrical department! I needed a breaker and he was aware that the manufacturer was no longer making Cutler-Hammer breakers but knew exactly what to get me and it worked great! He also was very kind and friendly, (besides being knowledgeable) Clinton needs KUDOS! And my dog loved him too!
