I consistently receive excellent service from genuinely happy work staff at this store. They get so tickled seeing me with my pups coming in. They love on my pups and my pups love the attention they get. I am greeted with smiling faces and get ask of anything they can help me with right away. Keep up the upbeat attitude and excellent service, West Ashley store.

Tim in appliances did a wonderful job of assisting us in purchasing three appliances even though this is not his normal department. You should keep him there.

Employees down in pro and lumber need more training before getting thrown onto the sales floor. They have no knowledge in products and could be ringing up wrong items. I witnessed two employees trying to find a product sku, calling foam board, drywall. Glad I stepped in when I did, not only was the line getting long but I’m sure the employees were getting frustrated as well. As an ex employee I was able to use the app and find what the customer had and was able to provide a sku so this checkout process would go faster. Everyone was grateful. The two associates (William, and a woman from pro I missed her name but she was tiny and had blonde hair) were super friendly and sweet and I enjoyed the conversation I had with them both. They even learned a couple things to help them out next time. I also watched Adante keeping the lot cleaned from trash flying all over, and gathering the carts while the wind was quite bad today.

I do not use self checkout and there were two cashiers open, not counting lumber department.

Rene was a huge help in our oven purchase! She was so kind, very helpful, and got us in and out quickly with exactly what we were looking for! Thanks Rene!

I never have a problem at HD. The store is well stocked , the personnel is always helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to assist you looking for a particular item. I love the self check-out option. The machines are easy to operate. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about their store. Never heard anyone say “Oh I don’t know where that is”, they always know!!!! Thank you HD for making life easy!

I always find everything I need at the store and get a lot of help from employees

March, 2024: I have been in this store twice in a week and each time encountered poor customer service. The employees are unhelpful, rude, and have no idea where anything is. This store does not seem to offer any employee education on customer service skills.

Standing there looking puzzled. Associate stopped by and asked if all was well. Did not have to ask. Associate pointed me in the right direction. Found what I needed.

Everytime I need something for a project, I head to Home Depot. They always have what I need in stock!

I went in the store a little late at night but the lady at customer service still have a smile on her face and helped me through the whole process of buying a shed. I'm really grateful.

I had an item that was scanned twice in error and the cashier was most courteous in checking the items and removing the double scan without any issue. She was very friendly and took her time with me even when a line was forming.

Employees available and knowledge to help. Self service register was opened with cashier to help me check out, so that I did not have to lift any of the items. Store fully stocked. So nice to get the items needed with excellent service, instead of the usual it is on order or we are short on help...Must be a great employer to have maintained employees!

I have such good results when ever I shop at Magwood Drive Home Depot. I always find what I need and am able to find assistance if needed. I don't find that elsewhere. The staff is always so pleasant

With the help of a kitchen designer, I had my entire kitchen redone over two years ago. I continue to shop at this store because it's close to my home and I always find what I want/need. Customer service is excellent.

I went to buy a new lawnmower, blower and weed eater. I was dreading going in because the big box stores typically don't have people with a great deal of knowledge about the products they sell. Fortunately Ben and another fellow who both work for Ryobi were there and were a tremendous help. I had to get my package delivered, their half assed system gives you a delivery window of 6am to 8pm. And they do not call to say they are on the way. Fortunately my office is ten minutes away so when the driver did show up and called me I was able to get there before they drove off and had to reschedule.

At the self checkout, when an employee has to take time to ensure you have actually paid for each item after you have properly scanned and paid for each item, suggest Home Depot just remove the self checkout kiosks and go back to the standard check out.

We reached out regarding plantation shutters. Dwight Roussert was in touch with us the next day about a consultation. He was at our house the exact day and time he said he would. So happy with his professionalism and promptness.
