Cathy and I made our annual Black Friday trip to Home Depot. It was great to have them back. Jeff the manager and Jeanette didn’t outstanding job of making us feel welcome!

I paid and over the top amount to have a new hot water tank installed (4 thousand dollars and it worked for about 10 hours. I discovered no hot water this morning and have been three hours trying to get some service. I get told 6th in line for three hours. Welcome to the no service world.

I bought a water pump for almost $110 . It really worked well to efficiently and quickly drain ALL the water out of my four feet high of rain water collected outdoor jacuzzi that’s NEVER been used even once and was filled also with tree debris. Thank you home depot employees who , you all, who helped me! I now have a positive onion of Home Depot, whereas previously I have none memories of associating with Home Depot.

My shopping experiences at Home Depot generally go very well and your sales people are invariably very knowledgeable and helpful.

Sandra went above and beyond by helping me locate three yellow lids for the three HDX 27 gallon Tough Storage Totes I intended on purchasing. These totes are a hot selling item at most Home Depot stores, however there is a scarce availability of lids. Approximately 15 HDX 27 gallon totes were on the shelves with no matching lids. There were smaller sized HDX totes on the shelves, however HDX totes are well designed to properly stack and store same sized totes, and all my totes are HDX 27 gallon Tough Storage totes purchased from The Home Depot. Approximately 40 HDX 27 gallon totes are in use at my warehouse storage. Sandra professionally and thoroughly searched the shelves with me for 10 - 15 minutes, eventually spotting three lids stored high up on the inventory rack a few rows down. We tossed up the question what if each lid had a bar code and were sold individually, then their inventory could be tracked, managed, and merchandised as a tote set, and most importantly preventing both new and loyal Home Depot customers from making the disappointing decision to shop a competitor’s store. Because Sandra gave a little bit of extra effort, showed compassion and sympathy for my situation, and shared a brief yet understanding conversation about the annoying tote lid theft problem, is a huge reason why I remain a loyal Home Depot customer.

This trip was disappointing compared to previous shopping trips. At 3:15 I ran into the store as I was trying to hit a deadline for work to grab a Milwaukee M18 Fuel set as my drill died onsite. Went to where they were located(front wall of store) and they were locked up. I found an associate in the tool aisle and asked for assistance at the front of the store in the Milwaukee section to get an item locked up. He told me that he would get someone up there to help around 3:20. I waited patiently, about 3:38 I went to the paint counter and asked another associate if they could get an associate to the front and he called on the intercom. 20 MINUTES LATER I had to go to the self checkout to ask an associate to grab the M18 Fuel set for me as I was now late on the deadline and had to grab one last item before leaving. She showed a sense of urgency and was apologetic. Had it ready when I came to the self checkout and was smooth from there. I appreciate her service. Are employees scared of customer interactions? Not one employee made eye contact with me when they walked past the front wall where I was standing. Ask more questions prior to requesting another employee to help? The employee in the tool aisle easily could’ve asked if I had question about the tools or needed to unlock something rather then being short with me. I wasn’t in between models or brands I knew what I needed walking into the store. Made me want to find another store even though this location is 5 minutes from my house. Hopefully this will be brought up in a morning huddle with the team to ensure that employees walking through the stores pay attention to peoples urgency and asking the simple question of “do you need assistance with anything?” It may make or break someone’s experience or day.

Coach Donna is amazing and went out of her way to help my 5 yr old get new batteries that fit in his buzz lightyear toy. She installed them before leaving so he would be happy! Sometimes it's the little things that are big things in customer service. Made our day!

I went in there knowing, what item I needed. I just didn’t know the location of the item. I asked for assistance from the gentleman that was working 6/1/23 at 3:51pm on the west side of aisle 21 (Fastener aisle) I think it maybe be returns or pro customers. Explained that he’d get me help. Help never came. Usually whenever I ask for just a quick point in the right direction I’ve received the help I’ve needed or they promptly direct me to someone that knows what they are doing.

Cashier Garrett gave excellent care. Helpful and answered all of my questions well. Went out of his way to provide professional service service.

They need somebody working there beside tellers that know nothing. I stopped 3 workers, of which none could help me. All they could say is I’m on break, did you look over there, or how about outside. Do you think I’m an idiot? Of course, I looked in all the obvious places, that’s why I asking. The web site says you have 90+, so the item probably really is there. I just can’t find it and am asking for your help which you don’t want to offer. Today was a worst case but not too far off of what I typically experience. Even when I chase one of your employees’ down, your customer service is almost non-existent.

I ran in to pick up something quick and 2 grown male employees couldn't help with a simple request. When I asked for a manager to assist me of course one wasn't available. Who is running tiur store?????

Ron was absolutely amazing. Provided top tier customer service from start to finish and made the experience fun and memorable.

Every time I'm here associates are always willing to jump in and help me understand things or come up with solutions. I'll be back next weekend!

Wonderful store with great employees.

My husband and I needed 8 shelves cut for our remodel project. Melissa was absolutely amazing, cutting the boards to very exact dimensions that had to be within an 1/8 of an inch margin of error. She nailed it and we couldn’t be happier. She made our project so much easier with her knowledge and expertise.

Always a pleasure shopping at this store. The people at the pro-desk are exceptional! Francis, Tony, Edward, Liz, John, Karen, and Amir...Thank you!

The adhesive materials that were recommended for my project was exactly what I needed.

Went in to buy a lawnmower. The gentleman who helped me was prompt and very helpful. In my opinion he went above and beyond by recruiting 2 other men to help load the mower into my car. They were waiting at the ready before I was even finished at the register. Great customer service. 5 stars

Came to buy a Xmas tree because home depot trees are so much nicer and fresher than neighboring tree lots and was greeted and helped by Mike, very cool and nice. Checkout was courteous and expeditious with the help of Tracy in the Garden center. I really like how you can checkout 10 yds from where you pick out your tree. Very cool. I will always go to the 'Po ( Home Depot, that is) for my Christmas trees and everything else...customer 4 life!

In our current world, it is the most difficult to find any customer service in person to aid in a purchase. Dennis at the Home Depot on Harbor is the BEST> Ask for him. You will recieve the finest and most knowledgeable help to discern your purchase. He is friendly, helpful and kind. Ask for Dennis. We will next time I visit . The fabulous art of helping customers is not lost with Dennis . He truly seems to care about your buying decision and wants it over the top satisfactory.

Frances was wonderful. I have been shopping at Home Depot for years and years. I have been a pro member forever. I was never told about the perks and Frances went way over the top to explain my perks that has been expiring that I knew nothing about. Now that is a cashier that cares about their customers to go out of their way and take care of me. We all need more employees that really care about us and are not empty sayings they say to everyone not meaning them.

From the time I first stepped into this store and met one of your employees, I knew this is where I will be shopping from now on. They treated me like they WANTED my business.
