Steve helped me solve a problem for my Mom by suggesting a smart plug so she wouldn't need to reach to turn her lamp on and off. It worked great! So thankful for getting someone knowledgeable to help me especially considering that I'm not very handy.

My visit here is hands down the next experience I’ve had with Home Depot. An employee named Valkyrie went out of her way to help with some repainting questions I had. She went beyond merely suggesting products by describing how to use the products along with expertise about everything I was trying to accomplish. This was a very good visit due to the actions of the employees there.

Employees at the Coon Rapids Home Depot are always friendly and ready to help, even when I interrupt what they are doing. I've had this experience several times, both inside and in the garden department.

Home Depot is a large store. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Every area we went through, staff offered assistance

how much it was cost for a toilet install. Even a ballpark figure would have been good. This must be a big secret. After customer service made at least 3 phone calls, we were told someone would be with us shortly. 15 minutes late, a gentleman asks us what we need?! Just looking for an estimate on a toilet install. That's around $289. he says. What, there is no set fee for these things? Do they change their pricing according to what day it is? It just seemed asinine that NO ONE AT HOME DEPOT could tell us how much a toilet install would be!!!

We were here this past weekend. Their employees don’t know how to operate and take care of their customers. It took over 20 minutes for them to figure out how to get someone up front to unlock the large door so the person running the forklift could bring our order to trailer. It also took several minutes to find someone to help get a tool unlocked we wanted to purchase. If I could give 0 stars I would. We won’t be back to this location.

Home depot in Coon Rapids was helpful in my search for ground covering

We bought and had installed a Rheem proformance platinum hot water heater which failed after 1 day giving an alarm code A114 which Rheem tech service bulletin say to replace the unit. $1973.75 for the unit and install and had to fight with Home Depot, Crew2 their installers and Rheem to get it replaced. First install was 8/7/2023 it took till 8/17/2023 to get it repaceo because Rheem wanted to try to repair it inspite of their own service bulletin saying it needed to be replaced. Next I had to fight to get a refund because we had a lower priced replacement unit installed. The refund took another 8 days and it was lower than it should have been because they said there was a charge to pick up the new replacement. Do your self a favor and go directly to a plumbing contractor and you will get a better product and better service without a middle man like Crew 2 charging exorbitant prices and not really caring about you the customer. If I could give them a no star I would. If you are buying something grime Home Depot and having installation make sure Crew2 is not the contractor the are definitely substandard on customer service!!!!

Shopping in store is a great experience-- friendly and helpful staff. However, trying to get any kind of answer over the phone is always a struggle. We recently signed an agreement for flooring install and haven't heard back so we have to keep calling-- but any time we call the wait is 5+ minutes before an initial pickup and when transferred to flooring our call drops within less than a minute. We end up having to go in store because it's nearly impossible to get any kind of contact on the phone.

All the Associates I have come in contact with have been Extremely helpful and Courteous. The manager at this store Brooks is a great guy and will walk the store with you so you find everything you need. I have been to alot of Home Depots around the country and the Coon Rapids store tops the list for Associates and Management.
