Great Customer Service

Honestly have never been treated worse in any store on any occasion. Staff was not only not helpful, they were flat out rude if you DARED to ask them for help. They stood around talking and on their phones. We honestly thought everyone was on break. They did not know the products and suggested we "read the labels". This store is garbage. Find another location or better yet, a company that wants your business.

Very easy to navigate. I used to ask people wht I should get and get some help for some of my projects but I feel like I don’t get the right help. I tend to do some research before stopping by. Nice place though.

I am especially reviewing the help I received from the worker in Kitchens. Selma. She was very friendly and very helpful. She went above and beyond to help me out.

Brooklyn went above and beyond her cashier role. I needed assistance loading water into my cart and my vehicle. There wasn't an available associate to assist so she loaded both my cart and my vehicle. What a pleasant young lady, thank you Brooklyn!

My wife and I have been searching for a refrigerator for about a week now so we decided we would stop at Home depot and check out what options they have. We found a refrigerator of our choice but had some questions to ask, Rod was amazing and very knowledgeable at answering any questions we had. He was extremely patient and took his time to explain to us about the warranty and even helped us save $100 by opening a home depot account. I definitely will be back to purchase more items in the future from this home depot. Thanks Rod for you help!

I made 3 trips to Chicago Ridge Home Depot in 1 week. I worked with Selma and Ben, when Selma was not there. They both went above and beyond to answer all my questions, look up product information and take my orders. I will never use anyone but Selma and Ben when shopping for appliances at Chicago Ridge Home Depot!

Tamara, Thank you so much for being such an amazing person, Tamara did my kitchen Countertop and my family decided to go back and do their countertop and remodel the kitchen, My family are deaf, she used an app to communicate with them and was really patient, took 3hours to make sure my family are satisfied with the selection and the design, her smile and her attitude are amazing, Best Customer Service Ever from Tamara Youssef!!

I came in to buy a vanity cabinet, but not all of them were displayed outside of the box. I told one of the associates that I would like to see 2 of the vanities outside of the box,so I can have a better look at it, and she said “well I can’t carry that box”, obviously I knew that and wasn’t expecting her to carry it, but rather get someone that can help me, and I asked her to go call someone that can help me. When the other associate returned with her, and I asked him very politely that I wanted the vanity removed from the box so I can see it better, his exact response was “well how can I sell it if I remove it from the box”. What kind of a reply is that?! He didn’t even attempt to find an alternative solution, that was his go to response. I am extremely unhappy with this unprofessional employee. Why not focus on helping the potential customer in front of you and attempt to make a sale rather than leaving the box there to collect dust for an unknown customer that might come in God knows how long? Lazy people.

Helpful products. I am refinishing my kitchen and always find what we need to get the job done.

You rarely find customer service like this anymore. What a great store and fabulous employees!!

We went in on a Monday and out a $40 down payment on a door. They said that it would be 3-4 days before someone would come and measure. Ok, no problem. They also said that someone would call to set up the appointment. Ok! On Saturday, no phone call. No appointment. I called the store and they said someone would stop today between 7-12. It was 11:15. 12:00 came and went. 12:30 came and went. The kicker was, we never got a phone call. Man at the store said that the guy who measures would just come in the back yard. Um, no! Nobody is coming in my yard unannounced and who I don’t know. Take your business elsewhere. These guys are a joke!

I walked in for 1 specific item, I left with 3 MORE expensive items. All because of helpful and considerate employees.

I think it is a DISGRACE at how many hoops you need to jump thru in order for a veteran to be able to get the 10% discount! In other stores you sign up and enter your information online. Then when you get to the store you can give them your phone number and they can look up your information and give you the discount. You do NOT need to have the app on your phone in order to get the discount! I am the one who is trying to set this all up for my 81 year old father. He is not very well versed with the technology of today. Your company needs to understand that not all veterans consist of the middle aged generation. If my father needs to download the Home Depot app to his phone in order to receive his discount, then he WILL NOT be shopping at Home Depot in the future and neither will his family. I will also be sure to tell his veteran friends what a hassle it is to get the 10% discount to save money at Home Depot. Please make this right or you will be losing customers.
